Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Tarshal, operated by Monolith® of Montréal, Québec. By using Tarshal you agree to them. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may agree on that company’s behalf.

Accounts

Access is granted by the company that holds the account. That company decides who may sign in and what each person is allowed to see. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in, and for telling us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

Your data is yours

A company keeps ownership of everything it puts into Tarshal. We hold it in order to provide the service and for no other purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train anything. You may ask for an export or a deletion at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not use Tarshal to break the law, to store information you have no right to hold, to attempt to reach another company’s data, or to interfere with the service or the systems it runs on. We may suspend an account that does.

Connected services

Tarshal can connect to services run by other companies — QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Google, Anthropic. Those connections are made at your choice and are governed by those companies’ own terms. We are not responsible for what they do with information you direct us to send them. Connecting one is a decision an owner of the account makes deliberately, and it can be undone.

Availability

We aim to keep Tarshal running and to make failures short, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen.

Fees

Where a subscription applies it is billed as agreed with the company holding the account. Tarshal is not currently sold publicly.

Liability

Tarshal is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under Québec consumer protection legislation where it applies.

Ending it

A company may stop using Tarshal at any time and ask for its data. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, giving notice where it is reasonable to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes belong to the courts of the district of Montréal.
